blogs vs current event

Hey 6th Grade,
I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas break. We are going to begin writing blogs instead of getting current events. Please tell me your thoughts on writing blogs and not getting current events. Tell me what you would choose and why.. Also I need some help coming up with some questions for this quarter, please give me a question that you think would be interesting for me to put up on the blog. You never know I might use your question.

Thanks and Happy Days,
Mrs. Lippert

Hi Mrs. Lippert I had a great Christmas break. I got a laptop, a couple jackets, some wii games, and lots more. I think that writing blogs will be more fun than getting current events. One reason is because you can tell you your thoughts. You can also use this as a resource to talk about things that we are scared or can't tell anyone else. Last but not least a question that I think that you could use on the blogs is: "Do any of you have a pet? If so give me a good description of it and tell me why you like this pet or don't like it."

Dear Mrs. Lippert,
I had a fantastic Christmas break. I got a psp for Christmas. I would rather blog than current event because this takes more brain power. A good question would be what is this density mass 1.2 grams volume .3.

Hi Mrs.Lippert,
I think it would be a great idea to do blogging instead of current events. I have a computer at home and a printer but my printer is broke. so blogging is a little easier for me and some other people that don't have printers or cant find time to come get one. You should asks us trivia questions on a section when a test is coming up. Maybe you can do what labs we would like to do.Think about it.

See You Latter;)

Good morning Mrs.Lippert
I think blogging will be much better then doing a current event. At least for me. I enjoy blogging a lot. My printer dose not work and there is not much time at school to print one off. You should ask stuff about the books were reading in class.

Dear Mrs.Lippert,

I had a good but bad holiday. I got snowed in on Wednesday at sterling. But the good thing is that i am back in school while i see my family. I think that doing blogging would be fun and that its easer that trying to get a current event every week. I think i would choose blogging because its more fun.

Love,
Peace

Dear Mrs.Lippert

I think it would be easier to have a current event because i am used to the current events. I guess it will just get some getting used to. Oh and i think on one of the blogs you should ask about the book we are reading.

Good morning Mrs.Lippert,
I hope you had a fabulous Christmas!
My personal opinion about doing blogs instead of doing current events will be a nice new start to a new year! Changing things up could be a great thing for the students to do. I think starting something new and excited, might make the students want to do blogging more than a current event.I would honestly choose blogging over current events because i think a change would be great!
You could ask something about science but also you can also just ask simple questions like , "What are you doing for the weekend!" I think nice simple questions would be nice!

Hope you have a spectacular day,

Dear Mrs.Lippert,
I also hope you had a GREAT Christmas break. I am happy to hear that we are now doing blogging instead of current events. I think blogging is a better idea because it's fun to do. Also blogging is a wonderful way of communicating with you. I think a fun question you could ask about science is "What certain things would you like to learn this year?" Thanks for asking for my opinion.

Sincerely,
george

Hey Mrs.Lippert,
I honestly liked current events better than the blog. The reason being that current events are more easy. I think you should ask about what we did over break.

Hey Mrs. Lippert,
I think that I prefer blogs because you can do them at home and you don't have to print. It also allows those that have internet but not a printer so they don't have to miss breakfast if they eat at school and if they ride a bus they can't stay after school or they might be late for the bus. A question I think would be interesting is: What is the definition of a chemical equation?

Dear Mrs. Lippert,
I did have a wonderful Christmas break. I think that writing blogs would make us think a whole lot harder. We would also be able to do them during class. So I guess I'll go with blogs.
I am very pleased that you would ask us to make up the questions. i think that a good question would be "What is the balanced equation to ..."

bye-bye,

Hi Mrs. Lippert,
I'm glad to get back to school after such a long brake, it always hard to get up and get to school in the mornings after being able to sleep in. I had a great Christmas break I got to go sleding for the first time this winter it was lots of fun.
I think blogging instead of current event is a good idea because you don't have to print out a whole bunch of stuff and nobody would end up printing off the same current event. I think a good idea for you next question is what our favorite food from the cafeteria is I think it would be interesting to find the over all percentage of what everyone likes.
Sincerely snoopy:)

Ms. Lippert,
writing blogs could be fun and more easy the current events. it is fun because you could tell what you did on breaks and easy because sometimes it is hard to find a current event. So that is why i think it could be easy and more fun.

Dear Mrs. Lippert,
I like the blogging better because it is more fun and helps with my typing skills. When blogging we can get them done in class, without needing to leave the room. For Christmas I went to my grandma's house, and had a great time.

Hi Mrs. Lippert I had a great break I got a ipod touch it is really fun to play with! I think blogging is a lot better than current events. It's more interesting. I think that you could ask where their dream vacation or job is. Or you could just ask them What their favorite subject is in science!

Dear Mrs. Lippert,
I like blogging better than current events because I don't like looking for stuff on the news. I would chose blogging because I like typing and it gets me better and my speed. For a question I suggest that asking if you got what you wanted for Christmas.
Sincerely,
jr.

Mrs. Lippert,
I think that blogging would be better than current events because with blogging we can get on and get it done quickly but with current events we have troubles with computers and the printer and we can keep making more excuses than the truth we could say oh my printer and printer weren't working and really I might have just said that because maybe i didn't have it done. But withing blogging you can't say oops my printer wasn't working. And the teacher can tell if you turned your blog in. Also my Christmas was awesome.

I am excited to start blogs. I really love typing and am excited to answer all of your questions. I didn't like the hassle of printing current events and remembering to turn them in. My Question to you is what is your favorite football team?

Dear Mrs.Lippert,
I think writing blogs is easier than going to google and searching forever for a good current event and I'd pick blogging over current events any day because it is easier.A question that you could ask us what they have learned so far in science.

Dear Mrs. Lipport,
Hi Mrs. Lipport I am looking forward to blogging instead of current events because kids would just print out anything they wanted to. My question is: What college you would like to go to.

Dear Mrs. Lippert,

Hi Mrs.Lippert, I have had such a wonderful Christmas break. I would really rather have to do blogs than current events because I like to type and at home I am always on the computer and sometimes when i get a current event I forget to turn it in sometimes so on blogs it's like turning it in right when you finish. One thing you could say is "Do you collect something? If you do what is it?

Dear Mrs.Lippert,
My Christmas break was wonderful. For the blog vs current event,I would want the blog instead than the current event because in the current event sometimes the computers don't work all the time and the printer does not work most of the time.

Sincerely,
Old school

Dear Mrs. Lippert,
I think it would be easier to do a current event because all you have to do is type in a website, find an event and print. Simple and easy. The only reason people don't turn it in is because they wait last minute and sometimes the internet doesn't work.
I think you should just let us blog about whatever we want.

Sincerely,
husky

Dear Mrs.Lippert,
I really like how we now do a blog instead of doing current events. Blogging is so much easier then currents events, because first of all you do not have to worry about the printer stopping or anything. Oh, plus blogging saves paper. I also like typing a lot so I think this is pretty cool. Oh and could we look at cells from a microscope?

Dear Mrs. Lippert
I had a wonderful Christmas break. I would like to blog rather than get current events because we can express our thoughts. A good question to ask on the blog is what is your favorite movie or show and describe why you like it so much.

Dear Mrs. Lippert

I like blogs a lot more than current events they are a little easyer than the current events, and I can talk to you in privite if I have to. Most of all you get to make up the guestions so it isn't just surfing the web; o and the qeustions should be about what we are learning about that week or even somthing we need to review.
