Hello 6th Grade

Hello 6th Grade,
I hope you all enjoyed the lab we did to see the reactions of some chemicals. Please tell me what a physical change and property are and also a chemical change and property are. Please tell me something that you enjoyed about the lab. Also would you tell me something that you would like to do this year.. or something you would like to learn about this year that we have not done yet...

Have a great week,
Mrs. Lippert

Hello Mrs.Lippert,
A physical change is when a substance changes color, state, shape and size.A chemical is when the substance has a reaction like for instance the backing soda mix with vinegar foamed and fizzed that was a chemical,(changes color texture and state.

Hello Mrs. Lippert,
A physical change happens when matter changes color, size, state ,texture, or shape that has the same properties.A physical property is color, size, shape, texture, and state. A chemical property is the characteristic of matter that allows it to change to a different type of matter. A chemical change is a change where a type of matter changes into a different type of matter with different properties. I enjoyed mixing the substances together and watching the reaction. I would like to learn what different materials acid can go through.
Have a great weekend,

Hello Mrs lippert,
I did enjoy that lab very much.A physical change is when a substance changes states as in color, shape, and size.A chemical change is when a reaction happens, if its bubbles, fizzes, or changes the color. I enjoyed comparing the strips to the sheet. I don't have any suggestions of what to do.

Sincerely,

Hi Mrs. Lippert,
A physical change is any change in size, shape, form, or state were the identity of the matter stays the same. The properties are smell, taste, texture, volume, mass, density, shape, and color. A chemical change is matter changing from one matter to a different type of matter with different properties. The chemical property is the characteristics of matter that let it change to a different type of matter.
Sincerely, bucky

Mrs. Lippert,
I left some things out. I liked watching the chemicals react to the iodine. I would like to learn about the planets this year in science.
Bye, Bucky

Hello Mrs.Lippert
A physical change is when a substance changes in state, color, shape, texture, or size with out creating a new substance and a physical property is a property that allows a substance to make a physical change. A chemical change is when a substance changes in size, color, state, shape, or texture and it creates a new substance and a chemical property is a property that allows a substance to make a chemical changes. I would like to learn about the different types of atoms.
Have a good one,

hello mrs Lippert,
A physical change is when a substance changes color, shape, state, and size. A chemical change is when a substance gets a reaction. i liked putting vinegar in baking soda and it bubbled. I want to learn about volcanos this year.

Howdy Mrs.Lippert,
I hope you have had a great week! First of all, a physical change is when something changes size, shape, state, and color. Unlike the physical change a chemical change is when something turns into a new substance. This year I really don't know what i want to learn about... I will be ready to learn anything!

Have a great day,

Mrs. Lippert,
A physical change is where a substance changes state, color, shape, and size. The chemical change is where a substance has a reaction for example baking soda and Iodine they changed color and they foamed and fizzed.I would love to learn how to dissect a frog or something like that!!!!
hope we learn how to,

Hello Mrs. Lippert
a physical cahge is when a substance changes color, state, shape and size. A chemical change is when the substance has a reaction like for instance the baking soda mix with vinegar foamed and fizzed that was a chemical. Chemical changes are changes in color texture and state. I would also like to learn how big a football gets until it blows.
